Lady’s glove at sunset

Description
This Lady’s Glove flower takes in the last sun of the day atop Tongue Point on The Herondale Hotel (formerly the Astoria Crest) Motel grounds. The views from these grounds go for miles to the mouth of the Columbia River as vessels queue up awaiting their turn with a river bar pilot to see them through to port. Ships anchored off Tongue Point at times look close enough to touch.
